Travel Advisory | Train services on the CCL will be adjusted during the weekends
Circle Line (CCL) train services will run shorter hours on weekends from Apr 11 to May 17 for testing ahead of the opening of three new stations.
Train services across the whole CCL will end at 11pm on Saturdays and resume at 9am on Sundays during this period. Longer travel times of up to 30 minutes may be expected during the service adjustments. Commuters are encouraged to plan ahead, and consider alternative transport options when travelling in and out of The Kallang. For more information, please visit here.
International Jazz Day at the Square
Jazz Association (Singapore) is thrilled to celebrate UNESCO International Jazz Day 2026 in conjunction with vOilah! 2026, partnering with the Embassy of France in Singapore.
Jazz Association Singapore Orchestra (JASSO), led by Executive Director & Music Director Jeremy Monteiro (SG), and Deputy Music Director Chok Kerong (SG), will take audiences on a musical journey through the life and legacy of Miles Davis, from his work with Gil Evans, his seminal album Kind of Blue, his time in France and his funk-fusion period.
The concert will feature internationally acclaimed French trumpeter Nicolas Folmer (FR) and French vocalist Andrea Caparros (FR). Together with JASSO, they will perform songs famously associated with Miles Davis, including the French classic Les Feuilles Mortes (“Autumn Leaves”), bringing a rich international flavour to the celebration. Additionally, rapper omarKENOBI (SG) will join JASSO for a special collaboration, reflecting Miles’ exploration of hip-hop in the later stages of his career.
