Roles & Responsibilities
Event Coordination and Management
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating various events held at the stadium, including sports competitions, concerts, and other entertainment events.
- Collaborate with event organizers, contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure all logistical requirements are met.
- Oversee event setup, including seating arrangements, equipment deployment, and staffing coordination
Facility Maintenance and Operations
- Supervise daily operations and maintenance activities to ensure the stadium is well-maintained, clean, and safe for visitors and staff.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and suppliers for repairs, upgrades, and renovations as needed.
- Monitor facility systems, such as, lighting, and security, to ensure proper functioning.
Staff Management and Training
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising stadium staff, maintenance workers, and administrative staff.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members, ensuring they adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
Safety and Security Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and security protocols to maintain a secure environment for all stadium visitors and personnel.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and procedures, including evacuation protocols and first-aid response.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Customer Service and Guest Experience
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing visitor inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and implement improvements to enhance the overall visitor experience.
- Work closely with marketing and promotions teams to develop strategies for attracting and retaining guests.
Financial Management and Budgeting
- Assist in preparing and managing the stadium's budget, including revenue projections, expense tracking, and cost-control measures.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost savings.
- Collaborate with finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field or turfgrass management.
- Proven experience in event management, facility operations, or sports administration, preferably in a stadium or sports venue setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, emergency procedures, and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), ticketing software, and other relevant technology.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Certification in CPR, first aid, or relevant safety training is desirable.
