A blockbuster season of live entertainment sets the stage for The Kallang’s biggest year-end community celebration yet
Singapore, 4 November 2026 – A blockbuster entertainment season is underway at The Kallang, bringing global stars and marquee events to its venues. As the precinct’s biggest community celebration of the year, The Kallang Countdown 2027, will keep the momentum going. It will bring together a diverse programme of activities and experiences including its headline countdown concert featuring a stellar line-up of artistes led by celebrated K-pop group Highlight (formerly known as Beast).
A defining act of K-pop’s second generation, Highlight debuted in 2009 and quickly rose to elite status, winning multiple Artist of the Year and Song of the Year grand prizes (Daesangs) with timeless hits such as “Fiction” and “On Rainy Days”. The group continues to captivate audiences across age groups, pairing the nostalgia of their beloved second-generation anthems with strong mainstream relevance today.
Highlight last performed in Singapore in September 2024, closing their Lights Go On, Again Asia Tour with a show praised for its high-energy choreography and powerful live vocals. Now, they return to the city to ring in the new year, promising a set that spans their nostalgic early classics and their most recent releases.

As The Kallang’s biggest community celebration of the year, The Kallang Countdown 2027 concert is part of a star-studded line-up of live entertainment featuring a diverse roster of global, regional, and homegrown talent.
- October opened the season with a dynamic mix of genre-defining artistes including The Weeknd, Avenged Sevenfold, BigBang, Chinese singer-songwriter KUN and legendary composer Hans Zimmer. Homegrown Mandopop showcase SING浪 rounded out the month.
- November promises a huge month for rock and alternative music fans, with a calendar that includes iconic alternative band My Chemical Romance, Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, Korean indie rock band Wave To Earth, pop-punk icons Simple Plan, powerhouse rock icons Guns N’ Roses and rising stars BABYMONSTER.
- December closes out the year on a high with K-pop titans BTS, leading into the New Year’s Eve Countdown 2027 finale.
- The momentum carries into the new year in January 2027, bringing acts such as Mandopop king Jay Chou, pop icons Westlife, BOYNEXTDOOR and Kenshi Yonezu to The Kallang’s stages. February keeps the pace with global hitmakers Maroon 5 and Japanese duo YOASOBI, and March rounds out with acts like Stray Kids and ENHYPEN. Filipino-British singer beabadoobee and global superstar Bruno Mars anchor an exciting April.

The Kallang Countdown 2027 is part of ONE Countdown 2027, which will bring together New Year’s Eve celebrations across Singapore, including in the heartlands. More details on the islandwide celebrations will be announced later in November.
