SINGAPORE, 19 September 2026 – The official draw for the Singapore Tennis Open presented by BNP Paribas was unveiled today, setting up a week of high-stakes action featuring some of the biggest names in women’s tennis.
Officiated by Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Supervisor Kerrilyn Cramer, the draw ceremony was held at Mercedes-Benz Studio Singapore at Gardens by the Bay – the first Mercedes-Benz Studio in Southeast Asia under the brand’s global Studios concept.
Key Highlights from the Singles Draw:
- Top seed Mirra Andreeva will face off against Daria Kasatkina or Alieksandra Sasnovitch in a battle pitting the Roland-Garros champion against seasoned WTA opponents in her opening match.
- Should Andreeva advance, a second-round meeting could pit her against Alycia Parks, Janice Tjen, or Leylah Fernandez, setting up contrasting styles between power baseliners and crafty shot-makers.
