The complete guide to Countdown 2026 at The Kallang

SINGAPORE, 28 December 2025 – Gear up to ignite your New Year at The Kallang! The precinct will host Countdown 2026 at The Kallang with programming to keep you entertained all night long. Organised by The Kallang Group, Countdown 2026 at The Kallang includes free community activities that start from 7.00pm and a staggering 35-minute fireworks extravaganza that will paint the night sky in vibrant colours. The energy will hit fever pitch with Countdown 2026 Concert at The Kallang, headlined by K-pop legends Super Junior, alongside regional artiste Cheng Huan (承桓) and local singers. This year will also mark the debut of The Kallang Pass, the new signature experience of our annual celebrations. One lucky winner will win a pair of tickets that grants year-long access to a variety of 2026 sport and entertainment events held at the National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium at The Kallang.

Countdown 2026 at The Kallang

To ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience for all, it is necessary to plan ahead. Members of the public joining us for Countdown 2026 at The Kallang are encouraged to follow The Kallang social media pages for the latest information. They should take note of the following:

1.Travel light and be prepared!

Pack only essential items for a hassle-free experience at The Kallang. As the weather can be unpredictable this time of the year, it is advisable to bring along a poncho, or you can purchase one from stalls conveniently located across the precinct. In the event of inclement weather conditions, please follow the guidance of our ground staff.

2.Check crowd levels, take public transport and arrive early

Free family-friendly activities at The Kallang start from 7.00pm. To plan your visit, you can refer to the Crowd@Kallang information portal for live updates on the crowd situation at The Kallang from 8.30pm on 31 December.

The public are strongly encouraged to take public transport to avoid expected congestion on the roads. The Kallang is served by Stadium MRT and nearby stations include Tanjong Rhu, Mountbatten and Kallang MRT stations. Train and bus services will be extended on New Year’s Eve. 3. Take note of venue closures and limited access to selected areas around The Kallang

To ensure smooth movement of foot traffic in the vicinity, there will be limited access to the Tanjong Rhu Suspension Footbridge and Merdeka Bridge footways from 11.30pm (31 December) to 12.15am (1 January 2026). The Tanjong Rhu Lookout Tower will be closed to members of the public on 31 December 2025 and 1 January 2026. The public is strongly advised to avoid loitering in these areas. All visitors should follow the instructions of Singapore Police Force (SPF) officers and security personnel on-site.

Countdown 2026 Concert at The Kallang will take place at Stadium Roar. This venue will be accessible only to ticket holders and will re-open to the public on 5 January 2026. To facilitate the smooth operations of the event, access to a few other venues across The Kallang, including Beach Volleyball Court, Lawn Bowls, Promenade at National Stadium, Splash-N-Surf and Water Sports Centre will be affected. 4. Keep calm, be kind, and stay safe

Large crowds are expected at The Kallang. The Kallang Group, in close coordination with government agencies and security personnel, will implement comprehensive safety and crowd-control measures. Visitors are encouraged to be patient, stay vigilant, look out for one another and adhere to safety measures and instructions from SPF officers, security officers and ground staff. Together, this will create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

5. Hydrate throughout the evening

Fuel up and stay hydrated throughout the evening. Food and beverage kiosks will be set up at OCBC Square and Stadium Riverside Walk at The Kallang, while selected Kallang Wave Mall tenants will continue sale of food and refreshments beyond the usual mall operating hours. 6. Leaving The Kallang

Dispersal is expected to be slow due to large crowds. Members of the public are encouraged to refer to on-site signage and plan their journey home. Additionally, to facilitate safe and orderly dispersal, ground staff will assist and direct the crowd.

Countdown 2026 Concert at The Kallang

2026 Concert at The Kallang will start at 8.30pm on 31 December. Tickets for the concert are sold out, but patrons can join in the festivities and watch the live stream of the concert from satellite screening sites at OCBC Square and Water Sports Centre at The Kallang.

Countdown 2026 Concert at The Kallang is a rain or shine event. Mobile tickets were issued to concert goers on 17 December. To facilitate secure distribution of tickets among co-attendees, Ticketmaster’s ticket transfer feature will be enabled for this concert. Find out more about the ticket transfer feature here. Ticketmaster is the only official ticketing partner for Countdown 2026 Concert at The Kallang. Concert goers who are found to have purchased resale tickets will be turned away from the concert, with no refund given.

Patrons who have purchased tickets to the concert are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the information in the event guide. Please note that umbrellas and outside food and drinks cannot be brought into Stadium Roar. A variety of food and drinks are available for purchase at the concert venue.

The live stream of the concert will also be available on The Kallang’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube) and iQiyi’s TikTok (available for users in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia).
