Train services on the CCL will be adjusted during the weekends

Circle Line (CCL) train services will run shorter hours on weekends from Apr 11 to May 17 for testing ahead of the opening of three new stations.

Train services across the whole CCL will end at 11pm on Saturdays and resume at 9am on Sundays during this period. Longer travel times of up to 30 minutes may be expected during the service adjustments. Commuters are encouraged to plan ahead, and consider alternative transport options when travelling in and out of The Kallang. For more information, please visit here.

Swee Kuan Quek

Swee Kuan joined The Kallang Group Pte. Ltd. (formerly Kallang Alive Sport Management Co Pte. Ltd.) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in December 2022. He brings to The Kallang (formerly the Singapore Sports Hub) a wealth of public and private sector experiences, especially in drawing both investments and visitors to Singapore.  

As CEO, Swee Kuan steers The Kallang Group in driving the next chapter of growth for The Kallang. Together with an experienced management team, he is looking to cement The Kallang as the destination of choice for sports, entertainment, lifestyle and community events in Asia Pacific. 

Prior to joining The Kallang Group, Swee Kuan held leadership roles in various organisations including Sentosa Development Corporation where he served as CEO. He played an instrumental role in transforming Sentosa into a leading international leisure and lifestyle resort destination, and in the formulation of the Sentosa-Brani Masterplan, which when fully implemented, will be a game changer for Singapore’s Greater Southern Waterfront precinct. Swee Kuan was also CEO (New Business) at Surbana Jurong (SJ), a global urban, infrastructure and managed services consulting firm. At SJ, he spearheaded immediate & long-term growth, transformation & new partnership efforts, and oversaw government relations. 

During his 26-year public service career which included tenures with the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Singapore Tourism Board, Swee Kuan was involved in developing the lifestyle, consumer, professional services and high-tech industries. He was also involved in venture capital investments while being based in the EDB’s San Francisco Bay Area office during the height of the internet and dot com boom in the mid to late 90s.
