Train service delays expected on Circle Line due to tunnel works

CIRCUIT BREAKER MEASURES AT THE SINGAPORE SPORTS HUB IN SUPPORT OF ELEVATED COVID-19 SITUATION

In line with the elevated safe distancing measures announced by the government as a circuit breaker to minimise further spread of COVID-19, the Singapore Sports Hub’s sports and recreational venues and facilities will be closed from 7 April to 4 May (inclusive).

CIRCUIT BREAKER MEASURES AT THE SINGAPORE SPORTS HUB IN SUPPORT OF ELEVATED COVID-19 SITUATION

Singapore, 6 April 2020 – In line with the elevated safe distancing measures announced by the government as a circuit breaker to minimise further spread of COVID-19, the Singapore Sports Hub’s sports and recreational venues and facilities will be closed from 7 April to 4 May (inclusive).

The closure will apply to the following venues and facilities:

• OCBC Arena, including the Sports Hub Gym & Fitness Studio

• OCBC Aquatic Centre

• Water Sports Centre

• Splash-N-Surf

• Singapore Sports Museum

• Sports Hub Library

• Shimano Cycling World

• Climb Central

• Community Facilities, including the Sports Hub Hard Courts, Beach Volleyball Courts, Skate Park, Lawn Bowls and Giant Chess

• Singapore Sports Hub Box Office

Kallang Wave Mall will remain open to provide for the continued operations of tenants offering essential services. These include the supermarket, pharmacy and F&B outlets (there will be no dining-in but takeaways and deliveries will be available). All non-essential retail outlets will be closed. The mall will continue to implement precautionary measures, such as regulating capacity to allow for safe distancing, as well as thermal scanning and increased frequency of cleaning. Patrons are advised to avoid over-buying or visiting the mall during peak periods on weekends. Those with a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius and above, or show respiratory symptoms will also not be permitted to enter the mall and will be advised to seek medical attention promptly.

The Singapore Sports Hub encourages all Singaporeans to stay united and at home during this challenging and crucial period. Patrons who are on Leave of Absence or Stay-Home Notice, or have recent travel history to countries or regions placed under travel restrictions by the Singapore Government, will not be permitted to enter the Singapore Sports Hub. Members of the public who need to visit the Singapore Sports Hub are urged to practice social responsibility and take guidance from the latest Ministry of Health advisory, such as avoiding close contact with others and wearing a mask in public spaces

Singapore Sports Hub thanks the public for their continuing support and will be coming up with some exciting programmes to keep everyone inspired while indoors.
