Road closure notice for National Day Parade 2019 (20 July 2019)
There will be a road closure affecting drivers exiting the Singapore Sports Hub post-20 July ICC game between Manchester United and Inter Milan. Nicoll Highway Southbound will be closed from 9am to midnight for National Day Parade rehearsals. Drivers taking the southbound route to the city will have to plan alternatives routes.
Those planning to take private hire vehicles (PHV) i.e. Grab are advised to head to pick-up point B (Map of pick-up & drop-off points in Annex B). While pick-up point A is available that day, PHV passengers may experience longer travel times because of point A’s proximity to Nicoll Highway.
Closure of Carpark 5 at Leisure Kallang Park
A section of Carpark 5 at Leisure Park Kallang is permanently closed with effect from 24 June 2019, (Map of carpark in Annex C). Patrons are encouraged to leave their cars at home and take public transport via bus or MRT to the matches.
The Singapore Sports Hub seeks the public’s understanding for these crowd safety and security measures. Information is subject to change. For more information, please refer to the 2019 ICC Event Guides for the more information:
