Singapore, 19 June 2021 – Singapore Sports Hub will reopen most of its venues and facilities to patrons on 21 June as the nation transitions into stage two of a calibrated reopening to Phase 3 (Heightened Alert).
The Singapore Sports Hub has been safely reopening its venues and facilities since 14 June. This includes the OCBC Arena which was closed to the public in support of Team Singapore athletes’ training for the Olympic Games. Activity group sizes have also been reinstated to five persons at facilities and venues such as Stingray® at Splash-N-Surf, Water Sports Centre, Sports Hub Library and Singapore Sports Museum.
From 21 June, Sports Hub Gym will reopen for members’ use, and our programmes at the Water Sports Centre, OCBC Arena and Sports Hub Fitness Studio will recommence. OCBC Aquatic Centre is hosting the Singapore National Swimming Championships from 22 to 27 June and will reopen for patrons use from 28 June. Lazy River and Kids Water Playground, however, remain closed in accordance with government guidelines.
Patrons should continue to observe safe social distancing and practise good personal hygiene while they are at the Singapore Sports Hub. They should refrain from visiting the Hub if they are serving a quarantine order, leave of absence, self-isolation or stay-home notice. In addition, patrons registering a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius and above, or showing respiratory symptoms, will not be permitted entry into any venue or facility, or allowed to participate in any activities. We will advise them to seek medical attention promptly.
