Singapore, 7 May 2021 – In line with the heightened distancing measures announced by the government, Singapore Sports Hub has tightened safe management measures across all its venues and facilities to ensure the public can continue to exercise and stay fit in a safe environment.
Most of the Hub’s venues and facilities will remain open and activities will continue as scheduled, in line with the latest measures that include limiting activities to no more than five persons per group and keeping all outdoor class sizes to no more than 30 persons (including the instructor) per session. In accordance with government guidelines, the Sports Hub Gym, Sports Hub Fitness Studio, and Kids Water Playground at Splash-N-Surf will be closed from 8 May through 30 May 2021.
These precautionary measures will be observed in conjunction with existing safe management measures in place such as temperature screening, use of masks at all times (unless exercising intensively), and maintaining a distance of at least three metres from others around you when exercising. Additionally, we encourage everyone who visits the Singapore Sports Hub to use TraceTogether-only SafeEntry check-in as Singpass and phone camera SafeEntry check-in will no longer be supported after 17 May.
Patrons should continue to observe safe social distancing and practice good personal hygiene while they are at the Singapore Sports Hub. They should refrain from visiting the Hub if they are serving a Leave of Absence or Stay-Home Notice, or have recently returned from countries or regions placed under travel restrictions by the Singapore Government. In addition, patrons registering a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius and above, or showing respiratory symptoms, will not be permitted entry into any venue or facility, or allowed to participate in any activities. We will advise them to seek medical attention promptly.
Patrons can check the announcements page for the latest information on safe management measures at our venues, facilities and activities.
