MEDIA ADVISORY
- A capacity crowd is expected at National Stadium for U2 Joshua Tree Tour on 30 November (Saturday) and 1 December (Sunday)
- Patrons are advised to arrive early, ideally at least two hours before the show starts (security check points will open at 4:30pm) for ease of entry
- All water bottles including personal water bottles and all bags larger than A3 size are not allowed inside the venue as part of the concert tour requirements
- On Saturday, 30 November road closures and diversions along Nicoll Highway will take effect from 3pm onwards due to the 2019 Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM). Patrons are strongly encouraged to use the MRT as their primary mode of transport
Singapore, 26 November 2019 – Patrons attending the U2 Joshua Tree Tour on 30 November (Saturday) are advised to arrive ideally two hours prior to the show via MRT, using the nearest stations at Kallang (EW10) or Stadium (CC6). This is due to road closures and diversions along Nicoll Highway which will take effect from 3pm to make way for the 2019 SCSM, an evening race for the first time.
Enhanced security checks will also be done prior to entry to the National Stadium as part of concert tour requirements.
For ease of entry into the National Stadium, patrons are advised to check the gate numbers on their tickets prior to coming for the concert and proceed to the nearest security check point closest to their gate (see table below).

Entry Requirements
Security check points
For the Standing pen: Security check points will open at 4:30pm
For the Seated patrons: Security check points will open at 6:00pm
To expedite security checks, patrons should note the following:
- All water bottles including personal water bottles are not allowed
- All bags larger than A3 size (Approx. 29cm by 42cm) are not allowed
- No storage facilities will be provided
- Air horns, loud hailers, large banners, and selfie sticks are prohibited
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed. F&B will be available for sale inside the National Stadium
- Patrons with no bags can use the Express “No Bag” Lanes for quicker entry at the security check points

For patrons who have yet to collect their physical tickets
We strongly encourage ticket collection before the day of the show as large crowds and long queues are expected on event day.

Road closure notice for Saturday, 30 November 2019
There will be road closure and diversions affecting drivers entering the Singapore Sports Hub prior to the concert. Nicoll Highway Southbound toward the city, will be closed from 3pm to 9pm to make way for the 2019 SCSM.
Patrons planning to take private hire vehicles (PHV) for exampleGrab to the National Stadium, should take note of the above-mentioned road closures and are advised to drop off at Grab pick-up & dropoff point B in front of the Singapore Indoor Stadium *Grab pick-up & drop-off points map in Annex B.
Members of the public with enquiries about the road closures may call the SCSM 2019 Road Closure hotline at 6701 1230. The hotline will be available from 9.00am to 6.00pm from 1 to 29 November, and will be available 24 hours on 30 November and 1 December.
